Each place has its own distinct set of colors. This hands-on watercolor workshop explores how to record the colors of the unique flora and fauna and landscape features that make up this remarkable geography in Sonoma. Through field studies we will develop personal and collective palettes that make up this distinct place- and discover what is surprising and unexpected along the way. Time will be spent indoors and outside, weather permitting. Learn the basics of color theory and how to mix a wide range of colors from a limited palette. The workshop is intended to appeal both to the experienced artist and the beginner, as well as travelers looking for a unique and memorable way to record places.
